Home My WebLink About1928-12-28 Board of Public Works Minutes December 28, 1928. Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held this day at the Town ' Building at seven-thirty P .M. There were present:- Harry N. Brown Miles C. Higgins Martin B. Hartshorn Harold W. Putnam Samuel H. Davis, and the Superintendent. A letter was received from W. P . Davis requesting information relative to the acceptance of Wends Street and he was informed that the stone bounds called for by the Plan would have to be set and the release of the Town to maintain the drain pipe between Lots 3 and t+ would have to be given before the Street could be accepted. The Board acting as Board of Survey, approved the plan showing the laying out of Lee Street. The Board acting as Board of Survey, approved the plans of , the Reading, Realty Trust showing the laying out of Pennsylvania Avenue, California Road and Virginia Road. The Board acting as Board of Survey, approved the plan of Mr. Landers showing the laying out of Hillside Road. Property owners on Ridge Road appeared before the Board re- questing information relative to the laying out of this Street and they were informed as to the necessary procedure to be followed in order that the Street could be accepted by the Town. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: Not to make any abatement of the sewer assessment chargeable to the Estate of H. W. Hunt Company on Pleasant Street.
