HomeMy WebLinkAbout1928-12-14 Board of Public Works Minutes December 14, 1928. - Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held this day at the Town Building at seven-thirty P.M. There were present:- Harry N. Brown Miles C. Higgins Martin B. Hartshorn Harold W. Putnam Samuel H. Davis, and the Superintendent. Mr. Van Buskirk and Mr. Davidson appeared before the Board relative to the condition of Pearl Street, near Bunker Avenue. - They were informed that the County Commissioners have under con- sideration the relocation of Pearl Street and nothing of a sub- stantial nature could be accomplished until this matter has been acted on by the County Commissioners . A letter was received from H. W. Hunt Company relative to sewer ' assessment char>eable to Estate on Pleasant Street and notice was sent that a hearing would be granted and held on Friday, December 21, 1928, at 8:15 o'clock in the evening. A letter was received from the Superintendent of the Camp Curtis Guild requesting this Board to plow out the road leading to the Camp and he was informed that this matter should be taken up with the Board of Public Works of the State. A letter was received from the County Commissioners relative town application of A. A. Gilmet, of Libby Avenue, for the laying out of this Street and notice was sent to Mr. Gilmet that if he would take the matter up with this Board he would be fully informed as to what procedure would be necessary. in order to have this ' Street laid out.
