Home My WebLink About1928-11-30 Board of Public Works Minutes November 30, 1528. Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held this day at the Town Building at seven-thirty P.M. There were present:- Harry N. Brown Miles C. Higgins Martin B. Hartshorn Harold W. Putnam Samuel H. Davis, and the Superintendent. A plan was submitted for the approval of the Board of Survey showing the laying out of Lee Street and the Superintendent was ordered to advertise the same for hearing, according to law. Upon the hearing on the petition of the Municipal Light Depart- ment for location of two poles on South Street, no one appeared in opposition thereto and the petition was granted. ' A letter was written to the Selectmen requesting them to furnish an Officer at the Mineral Street bridge during the reconstruc- tion of the same for the safety of the public.
