Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held this day at the '
Town Building at seven-thirty P .M.
There were present:-
Harry N. Brown
Miles C. Higgins
Martin B. Hartshorn -
Harold W. Putnam
Samuel H. Davis, and the
Superintendent.
A letter was received from George W. Hunt with reference to the
laying out of Colburn Road under the Survey Act and he was notified
that he should present the necessary plans and application signed by
all the abutters and comply with the provision of the Survey Act in
order to obtain water in this Street.
The joint petition of the Eastern Massachusetts Street Railway
and the Municipal Light Department for re-location of pole on the '
west side of Main Street, opposite Ash Street, was granted.
Mr. Rowell and Mr. Foster presented a plan of Bancroft Avenue
Extension for approval by the Board of Survey and they were informed
that upon the signing of the application by all the abutters, the
necessary notice would be published and the matter would be taken
up in due course.
VOTED: to repair that part of Winthrop Road which is accepted
as a public Street by the Town.
After discussion and upon motion duly made and seconded, it was,
unanimously voted to re-build the Mineral Street bridge with a
wooden structure with the 09,000 appropriated by the Town.
