' Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held this day at the Town
Building, at seven-thirty P.M.
There were present:-
John W. Owen
Miles C. -Higgins
Chester J. Wallace
Harry N. Brown
Samuel H. Davis , and the
Superintendent.
Mr. Walter L. Rowell, 164 Bancroft Avenue, appeared before the
Board complaining that the water came from Hanscom Avenue across
private land into his cellar, and he was advised that the Board
would look into the matter and let him know what, if anything, could
be done to relieve this situation.
' The petition of the Municipal Light Board for relocating a pole
on Howard Street was granted.
It was voted to buy a car load of cast iron pipe at 590 ner
foot, and 100 barrels of lime at $1.65 per barrel.
The Board approved the bill of the Second National Bank of
Boston for interest, amounting to 3320.00, due November 1, 1927,
on the water bonds for •S16,000.00L
The Board signed the proposal of the Snotless Streets Corpora-
tion for the placing of ten cabinets in the streets for waste paper.
