HomeMy WebLinkAbout1927-03-04 Board of Public Works Minutes March 4, 1927. ' Members present: John W. Owen, Frank C. Carter, Samuel Hobbs, M. C. Higgins and the Superintendent. It was agreed to accept the offer of the Mead-Morrison Mfg. Company to replace the original plow furnished with their tractor, with a super plow of the latest type made by the Walsh Boiler Works . We have agreed to pay transportation on both plows, and the Mead- Morrison Mfg. Company are to cancel their bill of $40.80 for repairs. Mr. Strout, engineer at the pumping station, brought in a recommendation for repairs on the pumps. It was voted that the work should be done, and estimates were requested from the Atlantic Works and from the Bethlehem Ship Building Corporation. Respectfully submitted, M. C. Higgins SECRETARY.
