Higgins, and the Superintendent. _ A complaint has been made to Simpson Bros . Company regarding cracks in the new granolithic sidewalk, around the Municipal Building. A representative of the Company has looked over the sidewalk, and has agreed to remed- the trouble. Gould & Libby, owners of the new building at the corner of Haven and Main Streets, have Petitioned for a granolithic sidewalk around their building. They were informed that such a sidewalk would be constructed at their expense, with an allowance of one-half the cost of a tar concrete sidewalk where no tar concretesidewaltk now exists. Existing curbing will be reset at no expense to them, but , additional curbing will be constructed on a 50_$0 basis . The work of the Highway and Water Departments were discussed.
