Present Mr. Owen, Booth, Hobbs and Carter and the Superintendent.
The Superintendent was authorized to order a car load of lime
from the Fonda Lime Kilns , St. Albans , Vermont, for the Pumping Station.
Also to order a boiler for the Pumping Station House from D.O. Miller Co.
Mr. McDonough appeared before the Board as requested and explained
his reasons for his delay on work on Prescott Street. - He ended by
notifying the Board that he saw no reason why the street should not
be fully stoned by Wednesday night.
The Superintendent notified the Board that Gardner Road was
ready for their inspection and he was ordered to check up same after
returning from his vacation.
The plans showing the sewer connection to the new Junior High
School were placed before the Board, with the decision that the Board
' should construct the interceptor and sewer the new Junior High School
as laid out on the blue print, from Adden and Parker' s Office and the
Superintendent was requested to notify the latter to this effect and
to state the elevation in the letter of where the connection to the
Junior High School with the interceptor will be made.
The Superintendent briefly outlined the work for the Departments
for the next two weeks to the Board and stated that Mr. Birnie and
Mr. Putnam will come every Friday night for instructions .
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P .M.
