' Members present: John W. Owen, Joseph W. Booth, Frank C.
Carter, Wm. S. Kinsley, M. C. Higgins , and the Superintendent.
This being the first meeting of the year the Board was organ-
ized as follows:
John W. Owen, Chairman
M. C. Higgins, Secretary
The receipt of applications for the position of Highway
Superintendent were acknowledged from Lemuel W. Allen of Reading,
and E. C. Merrithew, 6 Columbus Avenue, Saugus.
A letter was sent to C. S. Harriman, Chairman of the Wilmington
Water Board in which arrangements were made for a meeting with our .
Board on March 12th, to discuss the question of purchasing a supply
' of water from Wilmington. Mr. Barbour was notified to be present.
Mr. Boyers of Howard Street met with the Board in regard to the
culvert across Howard Street. Mr. Collins was instructed to clean
out the culvert so that it would function properly.
