HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-09-21 Board of Survey Minutes v September 21, 1959 Board of Survey The meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8;00 P .M. Secretary Harrison, Messrs. Donahue, Florence and Superin- tendent Welch were present. Final Hearing at 8;00 P.M. on the proposed lines and grades for an extension to Causeway Road from Ste. 9 + 42.07 to Ste. 14 + 79.37 (See Plan No. A - 26 - 7) The following persons were present: Mr. Lee Squibb - Realtor Mr. James Putnam - Surveyor A discussion of the plan followed . It was moved, seconded and voted to approve the plan and 4W profile providing two catch basins are added at Ste. 13 + 80 as suggested by the B.P.W. Engr. Division. The plan was not signed because the performance bond has not been filed and because some technical details do not appear on the plan. Considered note from Superintendent suggesting that the developers be required to complete all work in streets except final surface on sidewalks and travelled ways, installing curbs, aprons, etc, before the Board of Survey plans are signed. Jaid on table pending further consideration. Considered report from the Superintendent relative to status of work on all developments. Report listed the amount of work 4W done on each road and the relative progress of the work. S It was moved, seconded and voted to write to Morel Bros. (Westsyde Oaks) and Carl Olson (Boswell Road) notifying them that the Board will immediately take steps to have the roads com- pleted in the following manner in each case. A. Westsyde Oaks - To take steps to garnishee the deposit checks and get the work done. B. Boswell Road - To call on the Bonding Company to complete the work. Re ectfully submi tad: J-Use'-e, a / •
