HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-06-15 Board of Survey Minutes June 15, 1959 A meeting of the Board of Survey was held on Monday Evening, June 15, 1959 at 8 :45 P.M. Secretary Harrison, Messrs . Donahue, Florence, Leonard and Superintendent Welch were present. Mr. Florence acted as Chairman. Read letter from the owners of properties at 12 and 16 Scout Hill Lane requesting that the developer be relieved of the requirement of excavating the sidewalk to grade in front of their properties as they have, in part, slope graded, loaned and seeded the areas, and excavation to grade in sidewalk areas would necessitate their regrading their front lawns. It was moved, seconded and voted to authorize the developers, Reading Acres, Inc . , to eliminate the excavation of the sidewalk to grade in front of 12 and 16 Scout Hill Lane . Received letter from Lester Peabody, Trustee of Normandy Realty Trust requesting that the proposed Stone Road be eliminated from the requirements for developing the so called Lewis Estates. A detailed discussion of the request and its effect on the proposed Stone Road in the Morel development took place. It was moved, seconded and voted to eliminate Stone Road from the Normandy Trust development and the Morel Development . The Board adjourned at 9 :15 P.M. Respectfully submitted : %W ?Xyseretary
