Due to the absence of two voting members JEB appointed VA and AF as voting members for this meeting. Topics of Discussion 79-81 Salem Street - JEB sent the letter to the Building Commissioner regarding the release of the demolition delay on this structure. The building still remains standing. Postmark Square- Construction continues with the steel beams for the first Floor and the elevator chase completed. 186 Summer Avenue Still no work has begun, but a building permit has been issued. Everett Blodgett is checking with the town about the payment of taxes on this property. 20-24 Gould Street — RW is working with Newt Spurr, the nephew of Lester Riley to gather materials about the ACE Art Company for the display in the community event room. Page 1 1 Ci Of Reading ng Minutes RW and JEB met with him to see items he has gathered to be used in the Community space. JEB did contact Dave Traggorth recently regarding this space. JEB mentioned that we still have a need to create narratives to go with the displays. 24 Grove Street- This lot is now empty. Reading Depot - JEB followed up with Jeanette Cataldo (]C) regarding the RHC's paint color recommendation. JEB heard from Vanessa Alvarado that the Select Board had not heard from JC. JEB reiterated to JC RHC's position to keep the colors or do paint analysis and then discuss options. Maroon & Gold are the prominent B&M Livery colors. After speaking with the owner, JC advised JEB the owner has decided to do the paint analysis. Once this is complete the RHC will review the results with the owner and revisit their opinion, which will then be presented to the Select Board who make the final decision. RHC also discussed the issue of the needed repairs to the slate roof. Archives - The Flat files have now been reorganized Finances Nothing new to report. New Business 409 Grove St is now on the market. VA suggested that the RHC tour the property as we are required to do via the Preservation Restriction Agreement. July 8t^ Select Board Meeting JEB had a chance to speak at the July 8v' Select Board meeting regarding proposed changes to the town's current Zoning Bylaw which will be coming up at the Fall Town Meeting. He addressed the need to communicate with the residents in the South Main Street area concerning the proposed zoning changes in that area.
