HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-01-19 Board of Survey Minutes January 19, 1959 • BOARD OF SURVEY The regular meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8 :30 P. r,, Chairman Donahue, Secretary Lanni, Pissrs. Florence, Harrison, and Superintendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved . It was moved, seconded and voted to authorize Superintendent to endorse on following lot plans a statement that they do not require the approval of the Board of Survey. 1. Pleasant Street - North side - between Wilson St, and • John St. - Lots B-C&D - Lands of Edward C. and Martha L. Small. 2. Grove Street - West Street - Lot 3 - Lands of Sylvester and Bernice Horne - a strip 10 feet wide on the northerly side is conveyed to Horne from Florence Sargent. Considered and discussed proposed plans for the development of the so-called, Lewis Estate on West Street. No action taken as consideration and discussion was purely informal. Discussed in detail proposed lines and grades for Randall lid . as described in board records of January 12, 1959 the date of the Final Hearing. Proposal has been made that the grade from Overlook 'bad westerly towards County road be reduced from approximately 16 per cent to approximately 10 per cerin. It was moved, seconded and voted to approve the lines and grades providing the proposed 16 per cent grade is reduced to approximately 10 per cent. The plan was not signed pending receipt of a completion bond and a proof of ownership. The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 P. M. • Respectfully submitted Secretary
