HomeMy WebLinkAbout1958-09-22 Board of Survey Minutes r September 22, 1958 Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 9:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Donahue, Messrs. Harrison, Florence, Kilgore and Assistant Superintendent Putnam. A Treasurers Check in the amount of FOUR THOUSAND ($4,000.00) DOLLARS was posted by Edward C. Small and Martha L. Small, payable to the Town of Reading, which check the Town is to hold as security for the performance by said Edward C. Small et ux of the conditions con- tained in Escrow Agreement dated September 22, 1958 relating to the construction of Small Lane shown upon Subdivision Plan A-22-17. Moved, seconded and voted to accept conditions of Escrow Agreement and Treasurers Check for $4,000.00, and signed the following Plans: Board of Survey Plan A-22-17 - Small Lane Registry of Deeds Plan of Small Lane George M. McSheehy, developer of Mark Avenue Extension, presented the Board of Survey with a statement signed by Allan Roy Kingston, General Counsel, Middlesex Federal Savings and Loan Association of Somerville, to the effect that the sum of ELEVEN THOUSAND ($11,000.00) DOLLARS is being held, with said Association as Stakeholder, guaranteeing construction of Mark Avenue Extension, from Station 5 ♦ 06.96 to Station 9 t 66.35, shown on Subdivision Plan A-17-961 to Board of Survey specifications. Moved, seconded and voted to accept cash bond of $11,000.00 for construction of Mark Avenue Extension, and signed the following Plans: Board of Survey Plan A-19-96 - Mark Avenue Extension Registry of Deeds Plan of Mark Avenue Extension Meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
