HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-01-14 Board of Survey Minutes January 14, 1957 l A meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8 :00 P. M. in Room 14, fir• Municipal Building. Present were Chairman Johnson, Messrs. Zanni, Donahue, Kilgore and Superintendent Putnam. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved . Secretary Donahue read the notice of hearing regarding the accept- ance of lines and grades of Birch Meadow Drive Extension, which runs from Oakland Road in Westerly, Southerly and South-Easterly directions a dis- tance of 2,521.30 feet more or less to John Carver Road. This notice was legally published in the Reading Chronicle issue of Thursday January 3, 1957. Present at the hearing were the following listed citizens, who expres- sed their opinion on the proposed layout as noted: 6 William E. Burpee, 178 Wakefield St. ,-School Comm.-In Favor Philip R. White, 189 Summer Avenue, of R. G. Clinch, Planning,Board,-In Favor William Sommers, " - " to " Benj. M. Hartshorn, Jr., Planning Board,-In Favor Edward W. Batten, Planning Board,-In Favor After the hearing, it was moved, seconded and voted to approve the lines and grades of Birch Meadow Drive Extension, and the layout plans signed by the Board of Survey.
