HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956-02-06 Board of Survey Minutes February 6, 1956 The Meeting of the Board of Survey was opened at 8:00 P. M. Present were Chairman Kilgore, Messrs. Donahue, Zanni, Johnson and Superintendent Putnam. Minutes of previous meeting held January 31, 1956 read and appro- ved. Hearing held at 8 :00 P. M. on approval of lines and grades of Grant (Private) Street, which runs from Summer Avenue between Nos. 98 and 106 Summer Avenue in an Easterly direction a distance of 400.00 feet more or less to a traffic tee. The following listed abutting property owners were present, who expressed their opinion on the proposed layout as noted: Mr. John Enos - 21 Grant Street, - Yes Mr. John M. Raymond - 106 Sumner Ave., - Yes Mr. James Bowker - 58 Hancock Street, - N.C. Mrs. Louise P. Delano - 98 Summer Ave., - Yes Mrs. Clarice J. Countryman - 22 Grant Street, - Yes Mrs. Mary R. Price - 17 Grant Strest, - Yes Hubert 0. Price - 17 Grant Street, - Yes Mrs. Hazel G. Cowan - 14 Grant Street - Yes Robert F. Cowan - 14 Grant Street, - tea William J. Delano Jr. - 98 Summer Ave., - Yes Paul Cowan - 14 Grant Street, - Yes Gladys B. Croswell - 52 Hancock Street, - Yes Ray R. Croswell - 52 Hancock street, - Yes Joseph B. Rini - 15 Grant Street, - Yes (by letter) Pauline S. Francis - 16 Grant Street, - Yes (by attorney) Layout of Grant (Private) Street taken under advisement. Considered Board of Survey layouts of Laurel (Private) Lane and Tanglewood (Private) Circle, off nark Avenue, presently under development by George M. McSheehy et al. Performance bands were presented for con- .stbruction of these two streets, the public hearings having been held over I 45 days prior. Signed subdivision plans for recording of Laurel Lane from V Station 0 ♦ 0 at Mark Avenue to Station 4 ♦ 86.33; and plan 7of Tanglewood_ Chole in its entirety. Board adjourned at 8:20 P. M.
