The meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8:30 P.M.
Chairman Walker, Messrs. Donahue, Hopkins, Kilgore, and Superin-
tendent Welch were present.
Received letter from Board of Health stating that they approve

the proposed sanitary facilities proposed for Gathering Avenue, Selfridge
Road and Cottage Park and do not propose any restrictions for the
development plans.
Hearing at 8:30 P.M. on proposed lines and grades for Selfridge
Road, Catherine Avenue and a short extension to Cottage Park.
All of :these streets run off the north easterly side of West Street
just south of the Wilmington Town Line.
Refer to Plans A-17-23 (Cottage Park) A-17-24 (Catherine Avenue)
and A-17-25 (Selfridge Road) .
Following persons present:

No person objected to the proposed lines and grades.
Mr. Selfridge stated that he wished to develop Selfridge Road
first and would file performance bond in the near future.
Voted to approve the proposed lines and grades for all three
streets and to sign plans after performance bond is filed.
Considered the following three lot layout plans.
Libby Avenue - Lots 213,214,215 and 216 at corner of "C" Street
changed into two lots numbered 316 and 317.
4 _lfratr St. - East side - Owned by Robert and Marion Severance - Has
46.95 foot frontage immediately north of the Stoneham - Reading Town Line .
Contains 2.23 Acres.

Street - West side and east side - From Summer Avenue to
near Palmer Hill Avenue - Owned by Linda Basso - West side area 53.24
Acres - East side area 4.11 Acres.
Voted to endorse on all three plans the following words:
"The approval of the Board of Survey of Reading is not required" .
The signatures of all members present were affixed to all three
plans.
Board adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
