before a Planning Board may approve a plat."
After much discussion, the following suggestions were tentatively
approved by all present, subject to revision at a later date after more
consideration is possible:
taw
1. Board of Survey Rules and Regulations should be revised,
and regulation for drawing plans must include provisions for
(a) Water Supply
(b) Sanitary Sewage Disposal
(c) Ground water drainage facilities
2. Preliminary Plans need not show:
(a) Technical survey layout data
(b) Must show lines to approximate scale
3. Plans must show area, including proposed streets, lots,
topography, house locations, cellar floor elevations etc.,
profiles of proposed streets, storm drains, etc.
It was pointed out by Dr. Baisley that, while the State Department
of Public Health are glad to act in an advisory capacity on land
development health and Sanitation problems, they will make no survey
nor do any engineering work in the field.

He suggested that the Engineering Division of the Board of
`, Public Works might be used for this purpose.
Mr. Shaw suggested that the Engineering Division, if this type
of work were assigned to them, should have a Sanitary Engineer to work
with the Civil Engineer,
Voted that hence forth the Board of Health be notified in advance
of preliminary and final Board of Survey hearings.
Mr. Currell requested that Board of Survey notify Building
Inspector when Board of Survey plans are finally approved.
