4 Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8:0$ P.M.
in Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Cochrane, Secretary Watt,
Board Members Hodgkins and Kenney and Superintendent Welch.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as
amended.
Final hearing was held at 8:10 P.M. regarding the
approval, disapproval or modification of the lines and grades
of COVEY HILL ROAD which runs from Franklin Street in a
southerly direction, a distance of 7$0.00 feet more or less
to a dead end.
Eight persons attended the hearing. Mr. Kenneth
Latham, Attorney for George W. MacLeod, the Developer, explained
the plan to the abuttors and stated that the original plan was
submitted some time ago but disapproved by the Board because of
the inability of the Developer to deliver certain signed instru-
ments.
The new plan in essence is identical with the old
plan. David 0. Wardwell, $06 Franklin Street, stated that while
he and Mrs. Wardwell had previously objected, they now had no
objections to the plan. The abuttors when polled voted unani-
mously in favor of the plan.
Mr. Watt moved, Mr. Hodgkins seconded and it was
voted to tentatively approve the plan pending receipt of the
signed easement from Mr. Wardwell.
Meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Secretary
