r Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 7:45 P.M.
in Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Secretary Watt, Board Members Florence
and Hodgkins and Superintendent Welch.
Final Hearing was held at 7:45 P.M. regarding the
approval, disapproval or modification of the lines and grades
of Covey Hill which runs from Franklin Street in a Southerly
direction, a distance of 750.00 feet more or less to a dead
end.
Messrs. Dewsnap (representing Dana Perkins & Sons ),
Wardwell and Buttrick attended the hearing.
Mr. Dewsnap advised the Board that two drain ease-
ments affecting this plan had not been obtained. Messrs.
Wardwell and Buttrick discussed their respective drainage pro-
blems. Mr. Wardwell voted in favor of the development and Mr.
Buttrick non-committal.
Mr. Florence moved that the plan as presented be
disapproved without prejudice because of lack of easements,
Mr. Hodgkins seconded and it was voted.
Mr. Cochrane joined the meeting.
Final Hearing was held at 8:00 P.M. regarding the ap-
proval, disapproval or modification of the lines and grades of
Wescroft Circle (Keith Road ) which runs from Wescroft Road in
a Southerly and Westerly direction, a distance of 387.00 feet
`, more or less to a dead end.

Twelve persons attended the hearing. Mr. C. A.
DeBonis explained the plan. Questions pertaining to drainage,
sidewalks and trees were presented by the abutters. The poll-
ing was as follows: - In favor - 8; opposed - 0; and non-
committal - 3•
Mr. Florence questioned the existence of a drain
pipe which apparently goes from West Street between the pro-
perties of Condon and Sargent and ends in the proposed develop-
ment. It was felt that the drainage should be clarified. The
Board took no action and a meeting was scheduled for July 21
to approve or disapprove the plan. Plans were made to visit
the area on July 19 at 8:00 A.M.
46 It was moved, seconded and voted to rescind disap-
proval of the plan of Covey Hill Road. Mr. MacLeod will be
advised of the meeting to be held on July 21. If the drain
easements have been obtained, the plan will be reconsidered.
Final hearing was held at 8:15 P.M. regarding the
approval, disapproval or modification of the lines and grades
of the following streets: Maple Ridge Road Extension which
runs in a Westerly direction from the present terminus of the
accepted portion of Maple Ridge Road, a distance of 340.00
feet more or less to Pine Ridge Road; Hemlock Road which runs
in a Southerly direction from Maple Ridge (Private) Road, a
distance of 861.50 feet more or less to a dead end.
Mr. H. K. Abbott, Engineer for the Developers,
4W Hemlock Realty Trust, explained that the plan was a revised lot
plan on the Northerly side of Maple Ridge Road and the abandon-

ment of the proposed extension of Oak Ridge Road.
Eight persons attended the hearing and voted as fol-
lows: - In favor - 6; opposed - 0; and non-committal - 2.
Technical questions were answered by Messrs. Welch
and Abbott. It was moved, seconded and voted to approve the
plan (See Plans 300-L-293 - Maple Ridge Road and 300-L-294 -
Hemlock Road ).
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M. to meet as the Board
of Public Works.
