HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-05-02 Board of Survey Minutes 4W May 2, 1966 Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8:00 P.M. in Room 16, Municipal Building. Present were Acting Chairman Florence, Board Members Hodgkins and Kenney and Superintendent Welch. Preliminary Hearing was held regarding the acceptance of the lines and grades of HANSCOM AVENUE EXTENSION which runs in a Northerly direction from Hartshorn Street, a distance of 475 feet more or less to a dead end . Frederick Dewsnap, representing Dena Perkins & Sons, and Ernest Babcock, Jr. , Developer, attended the Hearing. The Engineer for the Developer informed the Board that they were unable to obtain slope easements from the abut- ting owners at the intersection of Hartshorn Street and Hanscom Avenue Extension. The Board discussed layout of the plan. The Developer requested conditional approval of the plan subject to obtaining the aforementioned easements. The Board moved, seconded and voted to take no action at this time. The matter will be reconsidered when the Developer arranges for slope easements or other method of con- struction with abuttors.
