Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8:00 P.M.
in Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Acting Chairman Florence, Board Members
Hodgkins and Kenney and Superintendent Welch.
Preliminary Hearing was held regarding the acceptance
of the lines and grades of HANSCOM AVENUE EXTENSION which runs
in a Northerly direction from Hartshorn Street, a distance of
475 feet more or less to a dead end .
Frederick Dewsnap, representing Dena Perkins & Sons,
and Ernest Babcock, Jr. , Developer, attended the Hearing.
The Engineer for the Developer informed the Board
that they were unable to obtain slope easements from the abut-
ting owners at the intersection of Hartshorn Street and

plan. The Developer requested conditional approval of the plan
subject to obtaining the aforementioned easements.
The Board moved, seconded and voted to take no
action at this time. The matter will be reconsidered when the
Developer arranges for slope easements or other method of con-
struction with abuttors.
