r Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8: 10 P. M. in
Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Cochrane, Secretary Watt, Board
Members Florence and Kenney and Superintendent Welch.
Read note from the Superintendent regarding a request
that the Board of Survey vote to release bonds required for the
completion of work on Cumberland Road and Melbourne Avenue. A
routine letter sent by the Superintendent was not satisfactory
to the Bonding Company.
Mr. Watt moved that the bonds be released, Mr. Kenney
seconded and the motion carried .
60 Preliminary Hearing was held at 8: 15 P.M. regarding
the acceptance of lines and grades of -
RED GATE LANE which runs Northerly, Westerly and North-
erly rom Walnut Street to Sylvan Road, a distance of
2215.24 feet more or less ;
SYLVAN ROAD which runs Easterly from Oak Ridge Road, a
drs_t_a_n_ce__oT 645.00 feet more or less to a dead end;
PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE which runs from the present termi-
nus o Pennsy van a Avenue Southerly to Red Gate Lane,
a distance of 146.93 feet more or less;
INDIANA AVENUE which runs in a Southerly direction from
the present terminus of Indiana Avenue, a distance of
125.00 feet more or less to Red Gate Lane;
BALSAM ROAD which runs Northerly from the present termi-
nus�$slsam Road, a distance of 100.00 feet more or
less to Red Gate Lane .
Mr. L. J. Peabody attended the Hearing. The Board
questioned the installation of sewers. The Superintendent ex-
plained that a portion extending from Indiana Avenue Easterly
and Southerly to Walnut Street will be serviced . The balance
of the Development will not be severed.
Meeting adjourned at 8:25 P. M.
