Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 7:55 P.M. in
Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Cochrane, Secretary Watt, Board
Member Kenney and Superintendent Welch.
Read note from the Superintendent in regard to the
proposed new set of Rules and Regulations for the Board of Survey.
All changes suggested over the past few years have been incorpo-
rated as well as changes which have been made in the General Laws.
The Board will study the rules and regulations and so note if
found proper.
Mr. Watt moved that a hearing be held on July 19, 1965;
Mr. Kenney seconded and the motion carried. If approved by the
�r Board, endorsed copies will be filed with the Town Clerk and the
Registrar of Deeds.
Final Hearing was held at 8:00 P.M. regarding the ac-
ceptance of the lines and grades of
MARTIN ROAD EXTENSION which runs in a Northerly direc-
tion rom the presenT terminus of Martin Road, a
distance of 640 feet more or less to Colburn Road Ex-
tension;
COLBORN ROAD EXTENSION which runs in a Northwesterly
d rect on Prom a present terminus of Colburn Road,
a distance of 545 feet more or less to a dead end;
ANNETTE LANE which runs in a Westerly direction from
Martin Road Extension, a distance of 196 feet more or
less to a dead and.
Five persons attended the Hearing. Attorney Ernest Nigro in-
formed the Board that the land is now owned by Maillet Construction
Company, Inc. and presented to the Board Affidavit of Ownership.
A drainage easement through land owned by Welter W. and Eleanor
M. Kashishian has been obtained by Maillet and will be deeded to
the Town. Mr. Nigro produced the original deed conveying the
land to Kashishian and a deed conveying the land to the Town. A
discussion ensued.
Mr. Kenney moved, Mr. Watt seconded and it was voted
to tentatively approve the plans and profiles of the Maillet
Development (see Plans No. 300-L-27$ to 279 inclusive) .
Mr. Leonard joined the meeting.
Final Hearing was held at 8:30 P.M. regarding the ac-
ceptance of the lines and grades of
BRIARWOOD AVENUE which runs in an Easterly direction
from Pearl Street, a distance of 600 feet more or less
to Beaver Road;
BEAVER ROAD which runs Northerly and Southerly from
Briarwood Avenue, having a length of 1246 feet more or
less ;
BADGER ROAD which runs in an Easterly direction from
Beaver Road, a distance of 398 feet more or less to a
dead end;
FOX ROAD which runs in an Easterly direction from
Beaver Road, a distance of 205 feet more or less to a
dead end;
PARTRIDGE ROAD which runs Easterly and Westerly from
Beaver Road, having a length of 313 feet more or less.
Eight persons attended the Hearing.
Technical questions in regard to tree lawns, sidewalks
and drainage were answered by the Board and Superintendent. The
abutters were informed that they must petition the Board for
t permission to connect to the storm drain, after which a Release
Cis prepared by the Department and signed by the abutter.

Opposed - 0; Non-committal - 3.
Mr. Watt moved, Mr. Kenney seconded and it was voted
to tentatively approve the plans and profiles of so-called
Briarwood Development off Pearl Street (see Plans No.300-L-266
to 274 inclusive) .
The work is to be done according to the regular speci-
fications of the Board of Survey without any exceptions .
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
