�r Meeting of the Board of Survey was held in Room 14,
Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Florence, Board Members Leonard,
Ames and Hodson and Superintendent Welch.
Read note from the Superintendent regarding Profes-
sional Engineers Stamp on Board of Survey Plans. A detailed
discussion followed. Mr. Ames moved that the Board follow the
Superintendent 's suggestion that all plans submitted to the
Board of Survey be signed by a Registered Professional Engineer
and/or a Registered Land Surveyor, whichever is appropriate.

Read note from Mr. Welch regarding Preliminary Hear-
4W ing on Breton Circle held February 6, 1961. Due to the fact
that Mr. MacDonald has not conferred with the Superintendent as
suggested, Mr. Leonard moved that the Board of Survey disapprove
the plan and Mr. MacDonald be informed that this does not preju-
dice his right to reapply if he wishes to do so. Mr. Ames
seconded and it was voted.
The Chairman read letter from Mr. Edward Small and
note from the Superintendent in regard thereto. Mr. Small in
effect requested tentative approval from the Board of Survey to
include part of a Town easement which runs through land recently
purchased by him as part of a proposed roadway. The land in
question abuts on Whittier Road, Small ' s land and Town land.
Mr. Leonard moved that his request be granted provid-
ing that provision be made for a circle at the dead end of such
`r extension, and further, that this present Board would not ap-
prove extension of a proposed roadway through Town owned land
to Birch Meadow Drive. It was seconded and so voted.
Meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
