Perkins, Paul Ferranti, Harold Christensen, Antonio Pallotta,
Sr. , Antonio Pallotta, Jr. , Ernest Nigro and Carl Amon.
The Superintendent outlined the following deficiencies
in the plans as submitted: -
1. Drainage design was inadequate.
2. The feasibility of sewering the two developments
was in doubt since inadequate information is shown
on the plans.
3. The intersection at Park Avenue Extension, Summer
Avenue and Oak Street was questionable since in-
formation concerning Oak Street was not shown.
4. Conflicting grades at the juncture of both de-
velopments.
5. The agreement that exists between Pallotta and
Reading Greenhouses is not sufficient to the Board
for proof of ownership of lands within each de-
velopment in entirety.
6. Many other technical considerations in regard to
profile grades, sewer and drainage grades, particu-
larly in regard to easements.
Mr. Perkins then requested a meeting in the immediate
future with Superintendent Welch and Civil Engineer Boutiette.
%, Mr. Leonard suggested that since the bulk of our
requirements are not set forth in writing, that this meeting be
held and Mr. Ames further suggested that consultation with the-
Engineering Department of the Town would not mean automatic
approval by the Board.
The attorneys for both petitioners requested that the
plans be withdrawn from consideration without prejudice, subject
to written confirmation.
Mr. Leonard moved, Mr. Ames seconded that the Board
allow the plans to be withdrawn subject to confirmation in
writing from both petitioners. but if written confirmation is
not received in one week, the Board will act on the matter.
Meeting adjourned at 9:25 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
