Regular meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 10:15
P.M. in Room 14, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Florence , Secretary Harrison,
Board Members Ames and Hodson and Superintendent Welch.
The Board signed letters to the Registrar of Deeds and
Recorder of Land Court authorizing Philip Welch , Superintendent ,
to hereafter sign all plans which are endorsed as not requiring
the approval of the Board of Survey.
The Board signed Agreement between the Board of Survey
and E & M Construction Company granting provisional approval of
plan of Robin Road, provided terms of original agreement are met.
The Superintendent reported that developers in the
Putnam Road area have completed corrections to drain structures.
CO Storm drains have been installed in Reading Terrace and the road
oil has been applied as required. All work has been completed
except the sidewalks. Mr. Harrison moved, Mr. Hodson seconded
and it was voted to release the sum of $6,000.00 on the bond
total as recommended by the .Superintendent.
The Board moved, seconded and voted to deny approval
of the lines and grades of Tennyson Circle. This is due to the
fact that the drainage is not to the Board of Survey's satisfac-
tion since it is proposed to pipe surface water onto the new
Junior High School land. Mr. Small will be instructed to contact
the School Committee in regard to using a manhole located on the
property where the new Junior High School is being erected.
The Board visited the area at the end of Bolton Street
on which a Hearing was held August 26. Mr. Harrison moved,
Mr. Hodson seconded and it was voted to deny the request for a
® water main extension. It is the opinion of the Board that a plan
showing a proposed road should be submitted to the Board of Survey
for approval.
Meeting adjourned at 10:35 P.M.
Respectfully submitted, _
