A meeting of the Board of Survey convened in Room 16, Municipal
Building at 7: 30 P.M. Present were Chairman Barker, Secretary Hampson,
Board Members Griffin and Boucher, Superintendent A.V. Fletcher, P.E. and
Assistant Superintendent William A. Redford.
The Board discussed the Sanborn Village (Lilah Lane) plan.
Assistant Superintendent Redford stated this new plan came in revised
per the Order of Conditions from the Conservation Commission. Basically,
what they did was they originally had two point discharges. They have
rerouted the drainage into a retention area. One lot was lost due to this
construction, and Verde Circle is shorter than it was previously, the
approximate length is now 120-125 feet.
The other change was the expected installation of a weir control
structure underneath Sanborn Lane. They have also put the pipe rail up on
the retaining wall.
Mr. Griffin asked what about the holding basin on the southerly side,
is that part of the Order of Conditions now?
Mr. Redford replied the weir is the outlet control structure for the
area south of Sanborn, north of Collins.
Chairman Barker asked do we have to take any action at this time?
Mr. Redford replied yes, I would ask that you sign the plans tonight.
Mr. Griffin asked are you satisfied with the way the plan is revised?
Mr. Redford replied yes.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 P.M.
