HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-03-09 Board of Survey Minutes March 9, 1981 ' Meeting of the Board of Survey convened in Room 16, Muni- cipal Building at 7:45 P . M. Present were Chairman Cowell , Secretary Wood , Board Members DeHart , Fallon , Barker and Clerk of the Board Louanis. Clerk of the Board Louanis informed the Board that the final plan for Oak Knoll has been corrected by the developer ' s engineer, and the location of the trees in question have been noted on the plan. Mr. Louanis stated he was not aware whether the developer and Mr. Ressetta have reached an agreement with regard to the six willow trees and the 16" oak. Mr. Gillis, the developer , stated the oak tree will have to come down and he did not feel that the willow trees would survive once the retaining wall has been constructed . Mr . Gillis stated that he had spoken to Mr . Ressetta an the morning of March 9th and had offered com- pensation in the event the trees do die and also agreed to put in trees. In addition to this, Mr. Gillis gave Mr . Ressetta the name and telephone number of his attorney. Mrs. Wood moved the hearing be closed . Mr. DeHart seconded and it was voted 5:0 :0. It was then moved , seconded and voted 5:0:0 to approve the plan dated March 2, 1981 on the subdivision known as Oak Knoll subject to the following provisions: 1. The submittal of shop drawings for drain manholes 2. The submittal of shop drawings for the proposed retaining wall 3. The submittal of proof-of-ownership of the subject property 4. The submittal of a properly executed Agreement between the Town of Reading and the Owner 5. The submittal of a properly executed . Conveyance of Easements and Utilities to the Town of Reading.
