Present were Chairman Price, Secretary Cowell , Board Members DeHart and Wood and Assistant Superintendent Bergeron. Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as written. Mr. Bergeron updated the Board on the status of Hopkins Farm and the request from Mr. Cormier, the developer, for a bond re- duction. The Engineering Division's estimate of the value of the work remaining is $9,600.00 while the existing bond value is $19,500.00. The Board voted to release $9,900.00 and retain the $9,600.00 to insure the satisfactory completion of the work. Mr. Bergeron reviewed the status of Milepost Road subdivi- sion and the request from Mr. Cormier, the developer, for a bond reduction. The Engineering Division' s estimate of the value of the remaining work is $9,700.00 and the existing bond value is $59,000.00. Following a brief discussion the Board voted to re- lease $49,300, and retain $9,700. to insure the satisfactory com- pletion of the work. Mr. Philip Bernet, developer of the subdivision off South Street requested the final release of his bond. Mr. Bergeron stated the Engineering Division is satisfied with the work per- formed and recommends compliance with the request. It was then moved, seconded and voted to release the remaining $900.00 of the performance bond. Mr. Bergeron reviewed the proposed Margaret Road Ext. sub- division and presented several layout schemes for the area. The general concensus of the Board was to remain with the original layout as submitted and develop the area by extending the pre- sent Margaret Road to Lowell Street. Mr. Bergeron indicated a problem may result due to the construction being within a 400 foot radius of the Revay Well and of the developer ' s desire to negotiate around the problem by having the Board require a forty foot layout without sidewalks. It was moved, seconded and voted to accept this as a point of information to be worked out at a furure meeting with the developer. Meeting adjourned at 11 :00 P. M. R fulll,,Y ubm' Se /
