Meeting of the Board of Survey convened in Room 16, Munici-
pal Building at 8:30 P.M.
Present were Chairman Dustin, Secretary Price, Board Members
Russell , Cowell and Testa, Clerk of the Board Louanis, William
Bergeron and William Redford of the Engineering Division of the
Department of Public Works. The Finance Committee was represented
by Jose Canto, Paul Metcalf and Gail Wood.
It was moved, seconded and voted to accept the minutes of the
previous meeting as presented.
The Engineering Division presented a report of the status
of all subdivisions in the Town, indicating the completion date,
status of the bond and work remaining in each subdivision to the
Board. It was accepted as a point of information.
The Board met with Attorney 0. Bradley Latham who introduced
his client, Mr. William Lynch and his daughter and son-in-law (Mr.
and Mrs. Gary Boutin) . Mr. Latham requested a favorable report
from the Board of Survey on a lot on E Street adjacent to #9 E
Street as his client has applied to the Board of Appeals for a
special permit to allow the erection of a single family dwelling
on the lot in question. Mr. Latham' s letter of March 8th (copy
attached) and supporting documentation from abutters'R.ndicated
there was no flooding on the lot in question, and his request at
this time is that the findings of the Board this evening be made
known to the Board of Appeals prior to his anticipated meeting
with them on Wednesday. Water and sewer is available if the
house is properly constructed. It was moved, seconded and voted
to notify the Board of Appeals of the Board of Survey' s agreement
with the testimony presented concerning a request for a special
permit for a lot on E Street abutting No. 9 E Street provided the
minimum cellar floor elevation is set no lower than 90.5' .
