HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-06-26 Board of Survey Minutes June 26, 1978 Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 11.15 P.M, in Room 26, Municipal Building. Present were Chairman Dustin, Board Members Russell, Cowell and Testa, Superintendent Louanis, Finance Committee Members Jose Canto and Theresa Bond, Town Meeting Members Virginia Adams, Gail Wood and Henry Adams and William Pacino of the Reading Chronicle. The Board read letter from Symes Associates, Inc. stating additional work had been completed on Countryside Lane and requesting their bond be reduced. Assistant Superintendent Bergeron's memorandum indicated that work has progressed satisfactorily to a state that a reduction of monies retained is warranted. It was moved, seconded and voted to approve a reduction of $600 of the existing bond (Atlantic Savings Bank Book #81-000-179 in the name of Symes Associates, Inc.) of $2,000 leaving $1,400 in force and effect. Read letter from Aurele Cormier, Trustee of Crescent Park Realty Trust requesting an extension of time on the Agreement on the Subdivision known as Hopkins Farm from June 15, 1978 to June 15, 1979. Mr. Cormier also requested an extension from February 18, 1979 to February 18, 1980 on the Agreement on Mile Post Road. Following a discussion, it was moved, seconded and voted to grant an extension of time on the Hopkins Farm Development between Haystack Road and Old Farm Road from June 15, 1978 to June. 15, 1979. It was further moved, seconded and voted to deny the request for extension of time on Milepost Road and it was recommended that this be brought up again at the and of the construction season.
