Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8:00 P.M. in Room
16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman Russell , Secretary Dustin, Board Mem-
bers Blood and Botka and Superintendent Louanis.
Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as read.
Read Notice of Preliminary Hearing regarding the approval ,
disapproval or modification of Plans for the subdivision of land
off Bainbridge Road. Mr. Peter Ogren of the firm of Hayes En-
gineering represented Symes Associates, Inc. , displayed the pro-
posed plan for the subdivision and explained in depth the intent
of the Developer. Approximately twenty-five people attended the
Hearing. A memorandum was submitted to the Board objecting to
the elimination of the entrance road from Charles Street to the
parking lot of St. Athanasius Church. Mr. Russell stated the
Engineering Division will review the Plans and submit their
comments to the Board and further a Final Hearing will be held.
It was moved, seconded and voted to close the Hearing.
Read letter from Dana Realty, Inc. requesting bond release
on Beaver Road and Hodson Lane. The Superintendent reported work
in the area was complete. It was moved, seconded and voted to
release $2,800 on Hodson Lane and $5, 500 on Colonial II , Beaver
Road and further to urge the Developer to remove the dead treeg
on private property but in close proximity to the street.
It was moved, seconded and voted to release the bond on the
Subdivision known as Briarwood covering Beaver Road, Rustic Lane
and Lucy Drive in the amount of $25,000. as this area is complete.
Read letter from Frederick Dewsnap of the Office of Dana
Perkins and Sons, Inc, with regard to flood plain at the Batchelder
Site, Franklin Street. Following a discussion it was moved, seconded
and voted the Superintendent testify to the Board of Appeals the
Board of Survey can not with the data received to date make a
' finding relative to the petitioners establishment on the flood plains.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
