HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-06-16 Board of Survey Minutes June 16, 1975 Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 7:35 P.M. in the Auditorium of the Community Center, 52 Sanborn Street. Present were Chairman Russell , Secretary Dustin, Board Members Blood, Price and Botka and Superintendent Louanis. Read letter from Arnold R. Parker of the law firm of Sweetser and Lombard stating that ownership of Lots 1-9 on Lisa Lane had been transferred from Hillcrest Realty, Inc. to Ralph P. Ciardiello, Trustee of Crestwood Realty Trust and requesting permission to use a. proposed Form G. Covenant in which the money for the bond would be held by the Wakefield Savings Bank and will be released to the developer by the Reading Board of Survey. It was moved, seconded and voted to-accept the information and request the Town Counsel rule on whether it would be proper to accept the proposed Form G. Covenant. Read Notice of Final Hearing regarding the approval , dis- approval or modification of the lines and grades of the proposed Hopkins Farm Subdivision. Approximately twenty-five people attended the Hearing. Mr. Peter Ogren of the firm of Hayes En- gineering represented the developer, Mr. Lester Peabody. Mr. Ogren stated that the area had been designed in a fashion that hopefully would reduce the water problems experienced by the residents in the location in the past. He stated further that a traffic study done at the intersection of South Street and Route 28 indicated the intersection would not be overburdened by traffic. During the Hearing questions were answered by the Board and Mr. Ogren and members of the Engineering Department remained at the conclusion of the Hearing to answer further questions of a technical nature.
