' Meeting of the Board of Survey opened in Room 16, Muni- j
cipal Building at 8:00 P.M.
Present: Chairman Blood, Secretary White, Board Members
Dustin, Reed and Russell and Superintendent Louanis. 1
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Preliminary Hearing was held at 8:05 P.M. regarding the
approval , disapproval , or modification of the lines and grades
of "Francis Drive" which runs in a westerly direction from
Charles Street.
Six people attended the Hearing. Mr. David Mattheis of
the firm of Dana Perkins and Sons presented the plan for the
Subdivision known as "Parkview".
Additions and corrections for the Subdivision were pre-
sented to Mr . Mattheis.
The Hearing was closed at 8:20 P.M.
' A discussion supervened. It was moved, seconded and voted
to approve the preliminary subdivision known as "Parkview" loca-
ted northerly of Charles and easterly of Main Street subject to
the following conditions:
(a) The street known as Francis Drive have only one kidney or
cul de sac located at the end of the street where it abuts property
owned by Mr, and Mrs. Case.
(b) The following additions and corrections should be made to
the plan:
1 . Relocate sanitary sewer between stations 1 +50+ and
4+50+ to center line of proposed roadway.
2. Sanitary sewer line between stations 1 +50+ and 3+40±
should have 7'z' of cover.
3• Locate and show on plans existing hydrant on Charles
Street in vicinity of proposed sewer easement.
4. Bituminous concrete curbing not allowed.
5. Note and show proposed granite curb inlets at catch
basins.
6. Relocate water mains in the vicinity of the kidneys to
proper side of roadway.
7. Show proposed gate valve on water main in Charles Street.

8. Hydrants may be spaces(5001 apart.
9. Show headwall on proposed drain lines between Lots 3 and '
4, 10 ' from property line and show open ditch on private

10. How is ponding on Holtsberg' s and Spagnoli properties
(due to cover over sewer line) to be taken care of?
11 . How are Lots 14 and 15 to be drained?
12. Show and note stone bounds on plan.
13• Obtain sewer and drain easements on private properties
for Town.
14. Replace headwall between Lots 5 and 6 with catch basin.
15. Plan shows granite curb across driveway of Hunt at Charles
Street. How is this to be handled?
16. Provide land for proposed future extension between Lots
14 and 15.
17. Set min. cellar floor elevations .
Meeting adjourned at 8:29 P.M.
