September 17, 1973
of the Board of Survey convened at 8:35 P.M. in Room
16 Municipal Building.
Present: Chairman Blood, Board Members Dustin, Reed and Russell
and Superintendent Louanis.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Reed read notice of Final Hearing regarding the approval ,
disapproval , or modification of the lines and grades of Pine Grove
Estates.
The Chairman asked the Developer to present the plans to the
Board. A lengthy discussion ensued. Many questions were posed to
the developers of the subdivision and the Board of Survey informed
the Developer that the following items must be complied with before
the Board could act on the plans.
1 . Milar copies of Plans that are to be recorded
2. Change min cellar fromelevation81 .00 to 82.00
3. Show tops and or toes of roadway slopes where they occur
on private property.
4. Show slope easements on private properties and obtain
releases for same from owners.
5. A certificate of ownership should be filed with the Board.

Mr. Reed moved, it was seconded and voted that the Board of
Surveydisapprove pprove the plan effective on the 24th unless an exten—
sion is requested by the Developers for the following two reasons:
( 1 ) Slope easements on
p private properties and re Leases for same {
from owners were not submitted
(2) A certificate of ownership has not been filed with the Board
Meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.

Sub Note:
Attached hereto is a copy of letter received from the Developer ' s j
Attorney, Killam and Killam requesting a two month's extension on
the Board 's decision on the subdivision known as Pine Grove Estates.

Dear Larry;
Thank you for your courtesy in my late arrival from my
S commitment In Waltham last evening,
tam writing to request an pxtanaion of time on behalf of mY
-I client. Davi4 Schurman, owner of the entire outstanding stock of
Community Development Services. Ino, , which holds title to the
real estate In the above entitled subdivision for tho purpose of
complying with the Board's requirements remaining unfulA110,
It is my underetandtug that the engineering and drafting nooep9ar7
i to show top and tow of slopea on the roads will be completed this
week. A cartiffoate of ownership will oleo be forwarded to the
Board immediately, The change of the minimum cellar floor alevp-
tlons from 01 ft. to 82 ft, IS entirely satisfactory to the developer
and notations to that effect Will be made forthwith, The linen plana
for recording will be ready as soon as these notation@ are made,
Item No. 4 showing slope easements to the Board 1s the Item whip),
could take some time but a twp-month extension should be a suiticfent
time within which to obtain releases or to ascertain whether they
can be obtained,
