' Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 10: 10 P.M. in
Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman White, Secretary Watt, Board Mem-
bers Blood, Florence and Reed and Superintendent Louanis.
Read note from the Superintendent regarding COUNTRYSIDE
LANE. Mr. Blood moved, Mr. Watt seconded and it was voted to ap-
prove the Preliminary Plan subject to the following modifications:
1 . Show exact distances between both houses and their
respective new street line.
2. Add drain manhole at Station 3+351 and correct pipe
lines to same.
3. Revise minimum cellar elevations to conform with
the existing drainage conditions and proposed sewer
design.
4. Show existing gas main along West Street on the
Plan.
' 5• Show existing utility poles along West Street on
the Plan.
6. Show existing edge of pavement on West Street and
at the intersection of Wentworth Road.
7 . Correct thickness of Bituminous Concrete sidewalk
on typical cross section from two (2) inches to
two and one-half (2 1/2) inches .
8. Show proposed granite radius curbing at inter-
section of West .Street on Plan.
9. Submit Lot Plan to be used for recording along
with duplicate copy on linen and in ink.
10. Correct circle lot lines to show roadway easements .
Read note from the Superintendent regarding the re-
lease of lots on FIELD POND DRIVE from the Covenant Agreement
between the Board of Survey and Domenick Zanni Realty Trust.
' The proper Performance Bond has been furnished by the Developer
to the Town. Mr. Florence moved, Mr . Blood seconded and it was

voted to sign the release of Lots 17 through 31 on FIELD POND
DRIVE.
Read data from the Superintendent with reference to the
completion of AUDUBON ROAD by Dynamic Construction Company. Ac-
cording to Mr . Louanis, Town Counsel advised that the Developer
has gone bankrupt and recommends that the Board of Survey vote to
inform R. K. Schmidt, President, that he is in default on his
Performance Bond and that the Town of Reading will move to com-
plete the Subdivision with the funds available in the form of a
passbook and withdrawal slip on the Lynn Five Cents' Savings Bank
in the amount of $22,600.00. According to the Superintendent, it
is too late in the construction season to attempt to get the work
done before the cold weather sets in. The project will be adver-
tised for competitive bids in the Spring of 1973• The street
will be accepted as a public way.
Mr . Florence moved, Mr. Blood seconded and it was voted
to declare the Developer, Dynamic Construction Company, in ,
default.
