January 3, 1972
Meeting of the Board of Survey opened at 8:00 P.M. in
Room 16, Municipal Building.
Present were Chairman White, Secretary Florence, Board
Member Cochrane and Superintendent Louanis .
Read letter from L. Beaulieu, 62 Red Gate Lane under
date of December 1 , 1971 which stated that he had in his possession
certain facts and evidence which if not acted upon, he believed
would be detrimental to the propertyowners and residents regarding
the development now being performed in this area; also outlining
certain conditions to be taken prior to the petition by the de-
veloper for the release of performance bonds . The Superintendent
had been instructed by the Board to invite Mr . Beaulieu to its
meeting on January 3 and present the facts for its consideration.
In a letter under date of December 30, 1971 , Mr .Beaulieu
stated that after consultation and due consideration, it was his
belief that such a meeting at this time would be premature. Mr.
Cochrane stated that Mr. Beaulieu had ample time to meet with the
Board if he had anything of substance. In view of his not wanting
to attend the meeting, the Board assumes there is no basis for the
questions which he might raise. The Superintendent was instructed
to so notify Mr. Beaulieu.
Read letter from Lester C. Peabody, Trustee, Normandy
Trust, requesting release of Performance Bond (S-627441 ) on Red
' Gate Lane from Sta. 5+38 to Sta.9+35, and Indiana Avenue Extension
210
Sta.0+0 to Sta. 1+25. According to the Superintendent, all re-
quirements have been met. Mr. Cochrane moved, Mr. Florence '
seconded and it was voted to release Performance Bond (5-627441 )
on Red Gate Lane and Indiana Avenue Extension on the specified
stations.
Meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
