PRESENT WERE CHAIRMAN FLORENCE, SECRETARY WHITE, BOARD MEMBERS COCHRANE, HODGKINS AND WATT, AND SUPERIN- TENDENT LOUANIS. READ LETTER FROM MR. HARVEY PASTAN, DEVELOPER OF HOLLY ROAD, REQUESTING A PARTIAL RELEASE OF THE PERFORMANCE BOND ON HOLLY ROAD. THE ORIGINAL BOND WAS IN THE AMOUNT OF $35, 000. 00. A PARTIAL RELEASE IN THE AMOUNT OF $15, 000. 00 WAS GRANTED IN JANUARY OF 1969. THE SUPERINTENDENT RECOM- MENDED A PARTIAL RELEASE OF $12, 000. 00 WHICH WOULD RESULT IN A REMAINING BOND OF $6, 000. 00 TO COVER THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT. MR. WHITE MOVED THAT THE ACTION RECOMMENDED BY THE SUPERINTENDENT BE FOLLOWED, Na. HODGKINS SECONDED AND IT WAS VOTED. PRELIMINARY HEARING WAS HELD AT 8:00 P.M. REGARD- ING THE APPROVAL, DISAPPROVAL OR MODIFICATION OF THE LINES AND GRADES OF STREETS SHOWN ON A PRELIMINARY PLAN OF COLONIAL ESTATES SECTION II AS SUBMITTED BY DANA REALTY, INC. FRED DEWSNAP REPRESENTED DANA REALTY, INC. THE FOLLOWING CORRECTIONS, ADDITIONS AND CHANGES TO THE PLAN WERE SUBMITTED: its 1. NAME STREET BETWEEN BEAVER ROAD AND T.& C.HOMES PROPERTY. 2. CORRECT SLOPE OF DRAIN ON WORK DRAWING BEAVER ROAD FROM S=0. 0007 TO S=0. 007. 3. SET MINIMUM CELLAR FLOOR ELEVATIONS. 4. WHAT PROVISIONS HAVE BEEN MADE FOR A RICHT-OF-WAY TO THE FOSTER PROPERTY? 5. HOW ARE DOTS 12, 13, 14 AND 15 TO BE DRAINED? 6. SHOW GRANITE CURB AT CORNERS. 7. CUTTER LINE PROFILE AT STREET INTERSECTIONS. 6. ;HOW PROPOSED GRADING OF CIRCLE. 9. THE PLAN AND PROFILE OF ROADWAY BETWEEN BEAVER ROAD AND J.& C.HOMES PROPERTY SHOULD BE ON A SEPARATE DRAWING. , 10. MATCH FLOW LINES OR PIPE CROWNS OF DRAINAGE AT DRAIN MANHOLE STA. 10+07 AND STA. 12+60 ON BEAVER ROAD. 11. DEED DESCRIPTION SHOULD BE SUBMITTED. 12. CORRECT DRAIN LINE AND WATER LINE LOCATIONS AT "KIDNEY " TO MAKE A SINGLE ANGLE POINT IN EACH. 13. WATER MAIN ON UNNAMED STREET. ACCORDING TO MR. DEWSNAP, THE ROUTINE PROBLEMS CAN BE RECTIFIED READILY. THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS THE RIGHT- OF-WAY THROUGH THE FOSTER PROPERTY. MR. DEWSNAP WILL KEEP THE SUPERINTENDENT INFORMED IN THIS REGARD. THE QUESTION WAS ASKED IF TESTS HAD BEEN MADE TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE LAND WOULD SUPPORT SEPTIC TANKS AND THE ANSWER WAS THAT THE TESTS HAD NOT BEEN MADE.
