Parenteau, Bill Seldon, P.O'Leary 1. Call Meeting to Order—A. Caraketsane Chairman Camkatsane called the meeting to order at 7:01 P.M. 2. Swift River Trading Company,LLC—Indian River Hydroelectric Power Supply Ms.Parenteau explained that in March 2011 the RMLD signed power supply agreements with Swift River Trading Company for three small hydroelectric facilities located in Massachusetts. At that time, there was a fourth hydro called Indian River for which Swift River proposed higher pricing than originally anticipated. RMLD was willing to pay the same price for the Indian River output, but not more than the other three facilities(Woronoco Hydro in Russell,MA, Pepperell Hydro in Pepperell, MA,and Turners Falls Hydro in Turners Falls, MA). As a result,Swift River who manages all four hydros withdrew Indian River from the portfolio. Ms. Parenteau stated that recently Swift River expressed an interest in offering RMLD the Indian River project output at the same cost as the other three hydro projects,and added that the Energy Services Division is presenting the Indian River project for the CAB's review this evening. Ms.Parenteau went on to detail the terms of the agreement. Discussion ensued. Mr.Norton made the following motion seconded by Mr.Hooper: MOVE that the CAB recommend to the RMLD Board of Commissioners to authorize the General Manager of the Reading Municipal Light Department to finalize negotiations and execute a contract with Swift River Trading Company, LLC for the output of the Indian River Hydroelectric facility owned and operated by Swift River Trading Company,LLC. Motion carried unanimously by a poll of the CAB: 5:0:0. Mr. Capobianco—Aye; Mr. Hooper —Aye; Mr.011ila—Aye; Mr. Carakatsane—Aye; Mr.Norton—Aye. 3. Other Items for Discussion None. 4. Adjournment Mr. Norton made the following motion at 7:11 P.M. seconded by Mr. Hooper: MOVE that the CAB return to Regular Session. Motion carried unanimously by a poll of the CAB: 5:0:0—Mr.Capobianco—Aye; Mr. Hooper—Aye; Mr. 011ila—Aye;Mr.Carakatsane—Aye; Mr. Norton—Aye.
