PBC Liaison Description:
The PBC Liaison is an informal role designed to assist the Town Facilities and other departments with
construction projects that do not fall under the purview of the Permanent Building Committee.
Assignment of personnel to these roles will be at the request and joint agreement of the PBC chair,
Director of Facilities and Town Manager or Superintendent.
The purpose of the liaison will be to provide communication and cooperation which facilitates a working
relationship between the PBC and Town/School Departments and other committees. The liaisons will not
have decision making authority or the authority to act on behalf of the PBC,but will offer advice and act
as abridge to the committee. Liaison's should be informed of meetings and other major project
