Ongoing Business:
• Open Meeting Law
• Ray and Dave plan to attend.
• Road Diet
• NSPC meeting. Ryan Perceval, Reading DPW, Rt. 28 repaving in 2019.
Possible to review Mass DOT Dist. 4 report on the expected work, preliminary.
• How do we advise on the Selectmen in accessibility of foot and bike traffic.
• Consideration of the flow of traffic during the time of day.
• Winter Social (lan 24)
• Potential locations: Bertucci's, Capri, (Laurie Ann & Ray)
• Earth Day Planning- Location (Saturday, April 21)
• Possible options are Coolidge or Parker schools.
• Focus "Earth Day for a Sustainable Future"
• Future Activities
• Walkable Reading - Winter Walk, 1:00pm, Jan 28 at Matterra Cabin.
• Movie night at the library
• Food waste management, composters available through DPW for residential
use. Rain barrel program. Revive program.

• LEAP report - review recommendations
• Increase the number of trees planted in Reading (Butch)
• Improve light sequencing at critical intersections to improve traffic flow.

• Increase number of EV charging stations in Reading.
Action Items for RCAC (items carried forward)
• Revisit the Energy Services Company (ESCo) - to understand the progress on
the energy efficiency and reductions. Find who (Joe Huggins (781-942-5492))
in Reading is tracking this. - Ray
• Food waste management action may be relevant to business in Reading. Jeff
to follow up with Wellesley. Contact Health Inspector. - Jeff
• Reading Library home energy focus for future home tours. - Gretchen & Ron
• Reinvent our Green Award program (Green Business and Green Leader). -

• Interact with Congressional representatives or 350.org (McKibben) on Climate
Change Issues. (Jeff)
• Brookline Climate Committee action item list. Review of ideas.
