Topics of Discussion:
RMLD is developing a second Community Shared Solar project. There are 200 people
on the waiting list. There are 600 shares in the next CSS project. Need to solicit
another 400 participants.

Ongoing Business:
• Comments for Businesses on Checkout bags
• CVS (personal opinion) and Stop & Shop responses received. Stop & Shop
bags offered for 10c does not meet the by-law as currently drafted.
• Staples returned questionnaire, Market Basket, Home Goods and Bagel World
did not respond.
• Follow-up with smaller business (Simms Jewelers, Hitching Post)
• Chamber of Commerce for Reading and North Reading
• Communication from public
• List of interested people - collected at Earth Day fair and at women's group.
• Host an informational meeting that includes key community groups.
• Powerful Organized People (POP) (The Huddle) Sept 21 meeting at the
Library (6:00 - 9:00).
• Walkable Reading
• Trails Committee
• Reading Ramblers
• Reading Neighbor Network
