Arbor Day • Work with Rotary and "bare root" trees, related to carbon capture and native plants. • State grant pending. • Pennies for Pines through the Garden Federation - Penny wars • Mike Haniford has taken the role of tree warden • Need to reformat the event. What are other towns doing? • Work with Walkable Reading on a grant around trees. • Reading Garden Club flower sale, joint participation. o Mary Ann Higgins current president • Need to reformat the event.
