3/14/2018 Minutes accepted
Ongoing Business:
• Earth Day-Earth, Wind & Fire, Parker Middle school (Saturday, April 21)
• Review list of vendors as to who has committed and who need follow-up calls.
• Bicycles providers not responding, probably not going to attend.
• Electric Cars - Jeff made several visits to dealerships, one (Chevrolet) has
committed.
• Celeste has contacted Mass Energy Consumer Alliance to reach electric car
owners
• RMLD has a Chevy Bolt and Celeste has a Nissan Leaf
• Potential seminar sessions to discuss further (about 15 min) - Ray.
o Solar how-to, economics (Bob Morton, ReVision Energy
o Native plants (Reading Garden Club, Mary Howard)
o Ground source heat pump (Ray Porter)
o Energy efficiency, Specific tips for recycle and reuse (Healthy Homes)
o Chairs and projector can be provided, need screen and power cord.
• Food for vendors - bagels, coffee, water, granola bars.
• Flyers have been distributed around town
• Sign on the common is up.
• Gretchen has asked EPA for children's material, but has not received it.
• Bag Ban Implementation
• Need message for businesses about the bag requirements (April 26)

• Need to put something in handouts for the fair (pdf)
• Matt to setup info on the Town website
• Lisa Egan, Exec. Director, will send message out to Chamber of Commerce
members
• Infographic representation for the residents
• Resident's information handout
• Need to fix definition of reusable bags that was omitted in the version that
was sent to the Attorney General's Office.
• Bike Swap (May 4/5)
• May 4 / Sth, is available. Need to get certificate of insurance.
• Connections with North Shore Cycling club to support event.
• Mass Bike to provide blinkers for child bikes.
• Gina has truck to pickup to gather bikes.
• Reading Friends and Family (lune 16)
• Opportunity to promote the bags
• Craft for bags making, bag races
