Ongoing Business:
• Role of Selectmen Liaison
• Request attendance of liaison for critical meeting
• Provide the liaison periodic updates of activities with talking points that need
to be conveyed to the Selectmen at their meetings.
• Municipal Grant Applications - Need to create a mechanism to discuss
activities that might be of interest to the town. Interaction of committee with
Town staff and Select Board members.
• Presentation to the Select Board of recommended approaches for grant
proposal.
• Select Board meeting on June 5°M1 and 190h.
• Reappointments for 2018 include Ray Porter and Gretchen Latowsky for
member and Gina Snyder and Jeff Everson as associate member. Vote for
reappointments for lune 19°h.
• Earth Day-Earth, Wind & Fire, Parker Middle School (Saturday, April 21)
• Thanks you letters to school teachers, town staff and exhibitors. (Laurie Ann
and Celeste)
• Attendance was light due to warm and sunny weather.
• One attendee had a question about residential landscaping issues.
• Others expressed interest in joining the committee.

• Owners of electric cars were enthusiastic promoters of their cars.
• Have a big banner for the EV parking area highlighting that parking is directed
for the Earth Day Fair. Let the soccer group know about parking. More signs
directing cars to appropriate areas.
• Presentations were good. I would open it up to other vendors.
• Counting the number of attendees could be improved.
• There are extra questionnaire. They could be reused next year.
• Bag Ban Implementation
• Dave to meet with Town staff and Chamber of Commerce about Bag Ban.
• Bike Swap (May 4/5)
• May 4'h 110 to 1. Dave to accept bikes
• May 5th, 9 to 11 for bike prep. Ray and Jeff.
• Curb Side Composting
• Jeff to invite person to talk about the issue
