Provide a sheet with planting instructions • Have an article in the newspaper to inform parents that the trees are coming • Students living in apartments could plant into containers for the first year Page 1 1 zouoam Town of Reading- Meeting Minutes • Ask to place a tree on town property • Ask for a tree donation. • Legislative Priorities on Environmental Topics • Distributed a list of proposed Acts being considered in the legislature • New Residents Open House — Committee Involvement • Tuesday April 30 at 5:30 - 7:30pm • Reading Public Library • Need to have a table showing what we do. • Climate Change Action Plan • Town Planner (Andrew McNichols) is looking to obtain a grant to review climate change issues. • Climate Advisory Committee supports pursuing the grant. • Send 2014 report and PowerPoint to the committee members • International Building Code (IECC) • Met with Bob LeLacheur who indicated he will see what the level of interest is at the town level.
