Minutes from the meeting on April 10, 2019 were reviewed and approved. 2. Friends and Family Day - June 15 Event runs 10:30am - 3:00pm. Tom requested a canopy and table from the town. Jean will setup and man the booth from 10:30am - 12:30pm. Need to bring laminated maps, trifold display, and QR pamphlet from Kim. Will will man the booth from 12:30pm - 3:00pm and then do the tear down. We should also consider bringing a board for"Buy a Board" fund raising and Grace's Trail Guides. Dog Parade - we were invited to have a table but we are doing the Friends and Family day. 3. Work Days Aberjona Bridge Build - need to wait until NOI is approved and appeal time has passed. Wait until next meeting to determine (end of lune?). 4. Trail Adopter High school student expressed interest. Jean reached out to her via email. 5. Chuck Tirone Involvement Page 1 1 Chuck is going to be more involved with the Trails Committee. Boy Scouts will see ` him first for Trails projects. He will help on some Trails projects (he was a big help on the Willow Street bog bridge). We need to keep him in the loop on projects and activities. 6. Conservation Commission NOI Preparation We discussed possible issues that they may ask - bridge design, plantings, etc. 7. Future Topics/Projects Town Forest - Kurt Habel wants to have a buckthorn pulling party. Town Forest - Rebuild 160 feet of Alligator Alley 8. Conservation Commission Meeting We attended the Conservation Commission Notice of Intent hearing on the Aberjona River Headwaters Trail. Kim presented the Aberjona Trail project plans. Chuck supported our work. Mike Flynn asked about clean up of brush at the end of Hunt Street. David Pinette suggested cable stays for the river bridge. Several abutters brought up concerns about the project (Japanese knotwood, erosion runoff, snow removal). The Commission closed the hearing. Next Meeting: TBD The meeting was adjourned at 10:00pm.
