Committee Member, Nancy Linn Swain,Rec. Committee Member, Michael DiPietro, Rec. Committee Member, Cbris'Campbell, Rec. Committee Member, Kate Kaminey Rec. Committee Member, Eric Hughes,Associate Member, Adamthase, Associate Member,Joe Rossetti,Associate Member, John Feudo,.Recreation Administrator C. Campbell called the meeting to order at 7:04PM. N. Swain made a motion to accept the November 1 Ith RecreatiottCommittee minutes. K. Kammer seconded the motion. Motion passed in favor of acceptance of the minutes by a vote of 5 -0 -0. Adam Chase entered at 7:07 PM. Joe Rossetti entered at 7:07 PM. Field Permit Policy and Fees J. Feudo presented the clumgM as recommended by the Recreation Committee at the previous meeting. The committee rev`i®aeed the chmilles., K.Kammer made a motion to accept the changes to the Town ofR 'Field Pormii Policy and Fees document as amended. F. Driscoll seconded the motion. Motion paggedin favor of acceptance of the changes made to the Town of Reading Field Permit Policy and Few document as amended. AdministratWo Report J. Feudo gave an update for late fall and early winter programming. The Winter/Spring brocbme is due out the last week of December. Some of the new programs feature an Adult Volleyball League, Golf Lessons for kids at Hillview Country Club and some exciting new art classes. J. Feudo mentioned that the members of the committee should have been approached by the Town Clerk's office regarding the ethics training. Every town employee,board, committee and commission must complete this training. This includes all volunteers down to t-Ball coaches. J. Feudo stated the rinks have been flooded and should soon be ready for skating. Memorial Park will not be flooded this season to prepare for the improvements to the park scheduled in spring 2010. The park will also be closed for activities until further notice. RECREATION COMMITTEE MINUTES December 9th, 2009 Con't Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse N. Swain reported that the youth crew has been going out to local stores looking to see who is selling what and gathering information on the types of tobacco products being sold. F. Driscoll made a motion to adjourn the meeting. K. Kaminer seconded the motion. Motion passed in favor of adjournment by a vote of 5 —0—0. Meeting adjourned at 7:41 PM. John A.
