REPORT OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS ON THE LAYING OUT OF
A STREET
The Board of Public works of the Town of Reading having
determined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity re-
quire the laying out of a town way under the provisions of law
authorizing the assessment of betterments, substantially in the
location hereinafter described, having complied with all require-
ments of law relating to notice to the owners of land thereof and
of a hearing thereon, and having met at the time and place appointed
for such hearing and then and there heard all persons present who
desired to be heard, have laid out as a town way for the use of the
town running Easterly and Westerly of a public way known as Libby
Avenue, substantially as and in the location of a private way known
as A Street. The boundaries and measurements of said way as so laid
out are as follows :
Beginning at a point on the Easterly side line of
Libby Avenue, said point being at the Southwest corner of
Lot 182;
Thence N.750-001 -00"E. , a distance of 362.94 feet
to a point;
' Thence S.200-381 -20"E. , a distance of 40. 19 feet
to a point;
Thence S.750-00' -00"W. , a distance of 366.89 feet
to a point on the Easterly side line of Libby Avenue; tt
Thence N. 150-001 -00"W. , a distance of 40.00 feet to ■
the point of beginning of this description. J
Also beginning at a point on the Westerly side line
of Libby Avenue, said point being at the Northeasterly corner
of Lot 152;
Thence S.750-00' -00"W. , a distance of 340.00 feet
to a point;
Thence N.470-00' -17"W. , a distance of 47. 17 feet
to a point;
.. ThenceN750-001-00"E. , a distance of 365.00 feet
to a point on the Westerly side line of Libby Avenue;
Thence S. 150-001-0011E. , a distance of 40.00 feet
to the point of beginning of this section.
The above described lines being more fully described on a
plan entitled "Street Acceptance Plan, A Street", dated March, 1970,
E. Roger Louanis, Superintendent, said plan being a part of this
description.
We determine that no damages will be sustained by any
person or persons in their property by reason of the taking
to be made for this improvement. All acts in connection with
said laying out are done under the provision of law authorizing
the assessment of betterments, and betterments are to be assessed
therefor.
' This laying out so made by us we hereby report to the
Town for acceptance and recommend that said way shall thereafter
be known as a public way and named A Street, and that the sum of
Twenty Two Thousand Five Hundred ( $22, 500.00) be raised from the
Tax Levy and appropriated for construction of said way.

BARTLETT CIRCLE
The Board of Public Works of the Town of Reading having
determined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity re-
quire the laying out of a town way under the provisions of law
authorizing the assessment of betterments, substantially in the
location hereinafter described, having complied with all require-
ments of law relating to notice to the owners of land thereof and
of a hearing thereon, and having met at the time and place appointed
for such hearing and then and there heard all persons present who
desired to be heard, have laid out as a town way for the use of the
town running Southwesterly from a public way known as Spruce Road,
substantially as and in the location of a private way known as
Bartlett Circle. The boundaries and measurements of said wayas so
laid out are as follows :
Beginning at a point on the Westerly side line of Spruce
Road at a point of curvature at Lot 21 ;
Thence by a curved line to the right having a radius of
25.00 feet, a distance of 30. 74 feet, to a point;
Thence S.740-161 -42"W. , a distance of 87.83 feet, to a
point;

50.00 feet, a distance of 36. 14 feet, to a point of reverse
curvature;

The above described lines being more fully shown on a
plan entitled "Street Acceptance Plan, Bartlett Circle", dated
August, 1969, E. Roger Louanis, Superintendent, said plan being a
part of this description.
We determine that no damages will be sustained by any
person or persons in their property by reason of the taking tobe
made for this improvement. All acts in connection with said lay-
ing out are done under the provision of law authorizing the assess-
ment of betterments, and betterments are to be assessed therefor.
This laying out so made by us we hereby report to the
Town for acceptance and recommend that said way shall thereafter
be known as a public way and named Bartlett Circle, and that the
sum of Three Hundred ( $300.00) Dollars be raised from the Jax Levy
and appropriated for construction of said way.

The Board of Public Works of the Town of Reading having
determined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity re-
quire the laying out of a town way under the provisions of law
authorizing the assessment of betterments, substantially in the
location hereinafter described, having complied with all require-
ments of law relating to notice to the owners of land thereof and
of a hearing thereon, and having met at the time and place appointed
for such hearing and then and there heard all persons present who
desired to be heard, have laid out as a town way for the use of the
town running Westerly from a public way known as Main Street, sub-
stantially as and in the location of a private way known as Brent-
wood Drive. The boundaries and measurements of said way as so
laid out are as follows :
Beginning at a point on the Westerly side line of Main

424.03 feet from a stone bound;
Thence by a curved line to the right having a radius of

sum of Three Hundred and Sixty ($360.00) be raised from the Tax
Levy and appropriated for construction of said way.

desired to be heard, have laid out as a town way for the use of the
town running Westerly from a private way known as Libby Avenue sub-
stantially as and in the location of a private way anown as G Street.
The boundaries and measurements of said way as so laid out are as
follows :

Libby Avenue, said point being at a stone bound;

The Board of Public Works of the Town of Reading having
determined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity re-
quire the laying out of a town way under the provisions of law
authorizing the assessment of betterments, substantially in the
location hereinafter described, having complied with all require-
ments oflaw relating to notice to the owners of land thereof and
of a hearing thereon, and having met at the time and place appoint-
ed for such hearing and then and there heard all persons present
who desired to be heard, have laid out as a town way for the use
of the town running Easterly from a public way known as James Road,
substantially as and in the location of a private way known as
Sherwood Road. The boundaries and measurements of said way as so
laid out are as follows :
Beginning at a point on the Easterly side line of James
Road at a point of curvature at Lot 25A;

SUNNYSIDE AVENUE
The Board of Public Works of the Town of Reading having
determined and adjudged that common convenience and necessity re-
quire the laying out of a town way under the provisions of law
authorizing the assessment of betterments, substantially in the
location hereinafter described, having complied with all require-
ments of law relating to notice to the owners of land thereof and
of a hearing thereon, and having met at the time and place appointed
for such hearing and then and there heard all persons present who
desired to be heard, have laid out as a town way for the use of the
town running Southerly from the 1935 approval of Sunnyside Avenue,
substantially as and in the location of a private way known as
Sunnyside Avenue extension. The boundaries and measurements of said
way as so laid out are as follows :
Beginning at a point of curvature on the Southerly side
line of the April 1930 approval of Fairview Avenue at land
now or formerly of Guy L. Holt and Charlotte 0. Holt;
Thence by a curved line to the right having a radius of
' 20.00 feet, a distance of 30.64 feet to a point;
Thence S. 160-011 -40"E. , a distance of 723.89 feet
to a point;
Thence N.560-371 -00"E. , a distance of 52.38 feet
to a point;

said laying out are done under the provision of law authorizing
the assessment of betterments, and betterments are to be assessed
therefor.

sum of Four Hundred and Ninety ($490.00) Dollars be raised from
the Tax Levy and appropriated for construction of said way.
