Topics of Discussion:
- 1. Review minutes from the Much 6,2019,meeting.
-Minutes from March 6, 2019,meeting were reviewed and accepted.
-Eileen Manning made a motion to accept the minutes and a second was given by
Michelle Greenwalt.
-Review of the notes sparked discussion about grades versus no grades
2. Update on School Happenings
-Enrichment forms have gone out to current 6" and 7q'graders for next year.
-Or 8-9 course selection is complete
-MCAS coming up after vacation
-Quebec Trip/Spanish day trips April 24-26
-Parent University
-Arts Fest
-Grade 5 Transition night already took place
3. Update progress on 2018-2019 School hnprovement Plan
-Discussed"status"and phases—decided to fill in complete even if work is
ongoing/developing
-Discussed having an additional column to note future work(if applicable) in each area
-Reviewed and revised the status of each of the benchmarks for goal 1.
-Opportunities for parents to understand importance of social emotional learning: we
discussed what was offered this year(w/low attendance). It was suggested that we offer a
combination of webex type sessions in addition to in person opportunities
-We discussed the advisory survey and difficulty due to wording on survey to get a lot of
information from it. We do know that right now, 80-86%(depending on grade level)of
students feel like they have a trusted adult they can talk to.

-Social media presentations will be done by Mrs. Shankland and Officer Vatcher after
vacation.
-Next meeting we will continue with early evidence of change for goal 1 and review goal
